At least one of us tried to exercise over Christmas

I am sitting here in my chair with it creaking after an enormous Christmas of eating and drinking, not to mention the run up to Christmas which for me started mid-November….nevermind back to January and the month of resolutions and new plans.  I am back to yoga and definately going to start running again.  I do yoga with the lady that I did both pregnancy and mother and baby yoga with in Battersea.  I absolutely love it and think it is a great way to stretch out all those muscles that we endlessly punish picking up little kids and walking around with them rested on hips, straining back and arm muscles.  The yoga place that I have used is called Battersea Yoga, www.batterseayoga.com.  Nadia, the brilliant teacher there also does the pregnancy yoga which I found to be a real balm for my soul when I was pregnant and every other aspect of my life was still super hectic, to spend a hour quietly stretching and moving was wonderful.  Once my son was born we went to the mother and baby yoga classes which not only helped restore my somewhat stretched tummy (my son was a healthy 10 pounds six !!) but it was also a great way to get out of the house on a Monday morning and I met some lovely friends through it too, my son mainly slept throughout it all and farted but I like to think that he enjoyed it too .  For Christmas I also got a copy of a yoga dvd which is a great solution if you are stuck in babysitting or it’s simply too cold to go out, an old friend of my who now lives in Australia is launching three yoga dvds and has recently released the first one for pre-natal yoga, it should be available in the UK in the next couple of months but do have a look at her website www.jiivana.com.au and try not to go green at her amazing life !

As well as plans to make myself more fantastic this year ( which will only really be in my head) we have got great plans for the collections, we are discontinuing two of our lines, safari and bunnies and introducing four new lines,

and a new range called Crazy Creatures

which are beautiful appliqued dreamlike animals and patterns, these designs are suitable for babies as well as slightly older children and are available in cream, blue and pink.  We are planning to launch these new ranges at the Baby Show in February in Excel where we are going to be exhibiting on stand M30.  We are going to be offering a couple of fantastic prizes at the show so do make sure that if you are there you drop by the stand. The Baby Show website is www.thebabyshow.co.uk, if you are planning to come it is worth booking in advance as the tickets are cheaper !

Have a lovely week.
