Me and my car laundry bag

A long, long day at the French Christmas Fair in South Ken - 11 hours standing up and smiling was all pretty exhausting  but it was good fun to see some friendly faces from other shows and there was a lovely stand with the most gorgeous little jumpers, tank tops and sweet hats called wotwu, have a look at their website www.wotwu.com for some little tops for your little ones.

I have been chatting to a couple of friends about the best advice that you can get when you have just had your baby and we are pretty much all sold on the importance of having a really comfy chair where you can feed your baby.  I didn’t think that it was too important when I was pregnant with my son and we were straight back to the shop after a couple of weeks of me trying to work out how I was ever going to be comfortable balancing on an old armchair.  Not only is it just lovely to be able to sit somewhere comfortable it will do wonders for your back in the long run and you can always dress it up with lots of lovely cushions !  There are lots of choices available, the modern take on the rocking chair is fantastically comfortable but not necessarily the prettiest thing in the world.  One option is to get an old nursing chair and recover it to match the theme of your room.  A friend of mine Gina Bowhill sells the most stunning chairs at her private house sales French & Decorative Antiques, 07809 434764, which might be one place to start. Antique shops are also a great place to hunt for goodies - though make sure you are covering them in something that you can clean grubby finger prints off without too much trouble !!

We are deligthed to have been featured in the Christmas edition of South West Families, grab a copy and see us in the Local Pages.

Right back to madly wrapping Christmas presents and trying to stop Junior ripping all the decorations off the Christmas tree.

Have a lovely week
